2024 - tread gently

Happy new calendar year. This is your gentle reminder, that you are not broken, and that you do not need to wholeheartedly change every aspect of your life!

I’d like to further gently remind you that if you try to change too much at once, or try to make changes that others want, or that you’ve seen others make, they are less likely to last!

If you would like to make some small incremental intentions for change, then here’s some thinking that will help you sustain these changes:

  1. Experiment with setting 1-2 intentions or goals, but no more than that at a time

  2. Visualise what you are letting go of, but also what you are gaining as a result

  3. Visualise the future you, and see and feel in your imagination how you will look and feel differently with this new practice

  4. Try to tie your practice with an existing activity e.g. practice gratitude while brushing your teeth

  5. You may wish to share your intention or goal with kind-hearted loved ones for reassurance and support

  6. Track your progress and understand that change is not always linear. There may be ups and downs and that’s ok

  7. Consider joining my Vision (Board) your Life workshops on January 6th to really understand what you want to release and what you want to welcome in for 2024
