Frequently Asked Questions

What does a Work and Organisational Psychologist do?

As a Chartered Work and Organisational Psychologist, I have a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Work and Organisational or Occupational Psychology. This is a speciality area of focus for me, and it allows me to work with Organisations and the People in them. My personal areas of passion within this domain lie with selecting, engaging and developing people to be happy, fulfilled and productive. I also work with defining and driving culture, Leadership Development and Well-being.

What does a Coach do?

A Coach helps you to get out of your own way! I believe that we all have the answers in us, but for whatever reason, we are blocked from seeing the answer, on any given topic at any given time. As a Coach I help you to identify the problem, see it a new way, see where and how you might be blocked and how to move forward. I am a Transformational Coach, meaning that I will work with you in going beneath the surface issues, to allow you to transform yourself from the inside out. This means that you will feel changed as a person. And be better able to deal with whatever work/life throws at you!

What does a Shamanic Therapist do?

A Shamanic Therapist is interested in the world of energies, and in supporting clients to unblock or to retrieve energies lost to them. Rooted in the wisdom of nature, I partner with my clients in going into the heart of what is causing them pain, in order to breakthrough it. These sessions are incredibly powerful and empowering, working as they do outside of the story that a client may have, and instead focusing on the universal nature of energy. It is said that one Shamanic session is equal to ten Therapy sessions.

What kind of projects do you work on?

Every single project that I work on is tailor made. I put the client at the centre of every engagement, harnessing their inner wisdom, and together we spec out and deliver a solution that will work now, and into the future. On their terms. The idea is that I support you to see your problem in a new light, and from there you can learn to fix it, now and long after I am gone! Very often, the work will start with you, and with you learning to see yourself and your behaviours differently, as well as the context in which you operate.

Who are your typical clients?

  1. I work with organisations of all shapes and sizes, usually at the middle to upper levels

  2. I also establish and run community-based groups, to bring my services to a wider group at a cost-effective price point

How do I work with you?

The first thing is to book an informal chat. Once you have filled me in on what is going on for you, I can explain in more detail what working with me might look like, and we can agree a plan forward, with associated timelines and costs
