Morningness and Eveningness - and workplace flexibility

Interesting to read this article last night, on the whole idea of some people being better in the morning and some better at night. When we studied it years ago it made a lot of sense - some people wake up more at night, some bounce out of bed in the mornings - and yet most workplaces force people to be morning oriented, when in fact this may not allow the organisation to get the best from them!

Now this reasearch is linking this idea to medical issues - by forcing ourselves to be something that we're not, we can in fact do damage to our health!

Another reason for organisations to embrace flexible work practices and see, where possibel, their staff as individuals.

Are you a lark or a night owl, and how has this effected  your work choices?
