Had such a great day, facilitating Module 5 recently, for the Coach Institute of Ireland. The carefully selected participants were as engaged and enthusiastic as ever, and with our approach of experiential learning, it was clear how much they are getting from the programme.
This weekend we covered the importance of Contracting, and of abiding by a strict Code of Ethics.
When selecting a Coach to work with, it is imperative that both/all parties spend sufficient time in the Contracting phase, so that everyone’s expectations are effectively managed up front. Similarly, spend time discussing your Coach’s ethical approach, and do not even consider working with someone who is not signed up to a dedicated Coaching body with their own code of ethics.
All our graduates certainly will be!
